1. How Much Do You Charge?  The answer to this question is multi-faceted and includes the following considerations:  What is the scope of the photography?  What are the logistics of the photoshoot?  How many separate parties wish to license the photographs for their own use?  What is the scope of the image licensing that each party will require?

My final fee is a reflection of all of the above considerations.  My rates are consistent with other top-tier architectural photographers currently at work in the United States.  Please contact me directly for a precise quotation for your project.

2. Can I Share Photographs With Other Parties?  Simply put--no.  Licensing for my photographs is non-transferable.  Sharing photographs with other parties constitutes copyright infringement.  If someone wishes to use the photographs I've created for you please have them contact me for licensing.

3. I've Been Contacted By a Company Called PIXSY--Are They a Scam?:  PIXSY is my legal representative in all matters relating to image licensing and copyright.  PIXSY uses its powerful search engines to identify copyright infringements through pixel matching.  PIXSY has my entire archive of images on their servers, and searches the web continually for matches.  When a match is found, the match is compared with all of my licensing agreements to determine if the usage is authorized.  Any unauthorized usage is pursued as a copyright infringement.  If you have been contacted by PIXSY regarding the unlicensed usage of my images, you should respond immediately to avoid costly legal proceedings.  Please respond directly to PIXSY--not to me.  I am prohibited by contract from intervening or negotiating in any way whatsoever.  I have authorized PIXSY to independently pursue and resolve all cases regarding the infringement and unauthorized usage of my photographs.

4. Why Do You Insist On Having No Other Photographers On-Site?:  Having exclusive access to a property allows me to schedule my photographs at the optimum time of day for light and composition and also gives me the flexibility to adapt to unforeseen complications in the photoshoot.  Having to wait for other photographers or videographers seriously impedes my workflow and compromises the quality of the photography that I'm able to deliver.

5. What Type of Equipment Do You Use? I use high-end digital cameras, premium lenses and professional lighting in my work.  However, in the end, photographic quality has little to do with equipment and everything to do with the photographer.  A camera is only as good or bad as the photographer who operates it.

6. What is Your Area of Service?  I am available for assignments throughout the United States.  I will consider international assignments on a project-by-project basis.

7. Do You Offer Workshops?  I have presented workshops in the past but am not offering workshops at present.  I am available for interviews (in-person or virtual) and paid appearances.  However, I do not respond to requests from individual photographers for advice or mentoring.

8. How Did You Get Started?  Please view my YouTube Interview with Partners in Post for information about my career and personal life.

9. Do You Hire Assistants?  I only hire the trusted assistants that I have used for many years.  I do not hire freelance assistants.
